Finding a Hangar

Q: Are all hangars listed on daily hangar?

A: We are constantly updating our website and adding hangars, but participation is voluntary so not all hangars are listed on this site.

Q: Can I search for a hangar without signing into my account?

A: Yes, you do not need to log in until you have found a hangar to reserve, however, the size of your aircraft is part of your unique registration, so it is easier and more efficient to search for a hangar if you are logged into your account.

Q: Can I talk to a live person, I am confused about my options on the website?

A: Please send your contact information to info@dailyhangar.com and request a call back. The Daily Hangar crew will get back to you as quick as possible.

Booking a Hangar

Q: Is there a membership fee to use this service?

A: No, the price is set by the hangar host. When your request is accepted you will be charged the host rental rate, plus a service fee, for rental of the hangar.

Q: Do I need to know the size of my aircraft or can I make a reservation with only make and model?

A: Yes, we strongly encourage you to measure the size of your aircraft. Any modifications in your aircraft may change the size of the aircraft from the standard manufactures listing, i.e. tip tanks, tires, etc. It is the pilot's responsibility to know the size of their aircraft.

Q: Can this website be used for long term hangar rental?

A: The intended use of this website is to provide a resource for transient pilots. No standard length of stay is built into the website, a particular hangar host may have restrictions they will impose on length of stay.

Q: Does Daily Hangar provide any insurance for the pilot owner/operator?

A: No, Daily Hangar does not provide insurance for the hangar host or the plane owner/operator. Daily Hangar is merely a reservation service.

Pilot Account & Payment

Q: Can I cancel a reservation?

A: Cancellations made at least the day before the date of stay at the hangar will be fully refunded. Reservations cancelled on the day of due to extenuating circumstances may be refunded at the discretion of the hangar host. A $10 service fee for late cancellation will be retained at a minimum if you cancel on the same day.

Q: Do I need a credit card to make a reservation?

A: For your protection and protection of all hangar hosts, you must use a debit or credit card to secure your reservation. See terms of use.

For Hangar Hosts

Hosting a Hangar

Q: As a hangar host can I decide if I can fit more or less planes into the hangar based on my situation for a given date?

A: Absolutely, the hangar host can control how many planes they accept on any given day. You may merely deny reservation requests on any day. You can also accept planes to the waitlist if you feel that you might be able to accommodate more planes than you listed on your lay out.

Q: I am a small private hangar owner, can I list my hangar?

A: Yes, we encourage private hangar owners to list their hangars. Please ensure that you have proper clearance to perform this sublease of your property and do not need further authorization from the airport manager or other governing body to provide hangar shelter for transient aircraft. You will need to make arrangements for allowing the pilot access and entry to the hangar.

Q: Does Daily Hangar provide any insurance for the hangar host?

A: No, Daily Hangar does not provide insurance for the hangar host or the plane owner/operator. Daily Hangar is merely a reservation service.

Q: How do I arrange for the pilot to get into to the hangar?

A: You, as a hangar host, are responsible for these arrangements. You need to make sure you are accessible to meet the pilot or have an acceptable method of access for the aircraft operator to get into the reserved facility.

Host Account & Payment

Q: How are monetary transactions completed?

A: For protection of all hangar hosts and pilots all transactions go through Stripe which provides secure online payment processing for internet businesses. See terms of use.

Q: How often can I update my prices for rental?

A: You are responsible for the prices you post and they can be updated on your listing at anytime. If you have agreed upon a price for a particular reservation the agreed upon price must be honored. You will not be able to change this after the reservation has been accepted unless there is a change in the size of aircraft, a change in the date or a change in the length of stay.
